new Add context to excluded blocks and dynamic elements
You can now add a description to any blocks you’ve added for exclusion.
This is helpful as it allows you to note down the context of the excluded block.
To do this, navigate to your ‘Settings’ > ‘Translations Exclusions’, click on the pencil icon to an already excluded block and add a note in the ‘Description’ field. Click on ‘Save rule’ to update it.
A description can also be associated with any dynamic elements you've added for translation in the CMS-specific tab in your 'Settings'.
update Search and replace
We’ve added a new option to toggle on or off ‘Mark as reviewed’ within the ‘Search and replace’ feature. By default, any word you replace using this method will mark the translation affected by this search and replace as ‘manually reviewed’.
You may want to toggle off this option if you’d like to keep the whole sentence/paragraph in which the word was included as automatic for later reviewing purposes.
To switch this off, go to your ‘Translations List’ click on the search and replace icon next to the search bar, make a change and then toggle off the option before you click on ‘Replace’.
You can now choose to switch on ‘Auto-upgrade’ through your Weglot Dashboard. If selected, your account will be automatically upgraded to the next plan if your monthly limit is reached.
This is useful as it means you won’t have any account disruptions and your website visitors can continue to browse your site in their language of choice.
To enable this feature, navigate to ‘Billing’
And, toggle on ‘Auto-upgrade’.
UPDATE Assigning translations
We’ve made an update to the email someone will receive when you’ve assigned them translations. They will now get a direct link to the translations they need to review and/or edit.
This is useful as they won’t need to manually filter by their name within the Translations List.
However, bear in mind that if they have been assigned to multiple translation pairs, they will only be taken to one language pair and then need to manually filter on the other translation pairs to find their assigned translations.
