Release 5.17

Hi everyone! 👋

In this update, we are thrilled to introduce a powerful new feature called "Pending Translation."

This feature enhances the translation process by allowing users to review and approve or reject new sentences before they are translated, providing greater control and accuracy over translations

new Pending translation

To enable this feature, go to your Project Settings, navigate to the General tab and tick the "Pending Translation" option.

How it works:

  • New Sentence Queue: As soon as new content is detected for translation, sentences are placed in a queue labelled "Pending Translations". In this stage, sentences won't undergo translation. This means that while the total word count won't increase, the sentences won't appear in translated form on the website.
  • Review and Action: From the language pair page, users will encounter pairs with new potential sentences.

By clicking on the badge, the user will be redirected to a new page allowing three distinct actions:
    1. Accept: By choosing this option, the new sentence will undergo translation and become accessible in your translation list.
    2. Ignore: Opting to ignore a sentence will exclude it from the translation process and remove it from the list. However, should someone revisit the page where the sentence is found, it will reappear in the pending translation list.
    3. Reject:  Rejecting a sentence means it won't undergo translation, will be deleted from the list, and won't be generated again.
  • See rejected sentences: Even after rejection, you can still access previously rejected sentences and adjust your actions as needed.

We hope you find this feature useful! As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out at support@weglot.com if you have any questions or need help getting started.
