Manage your inactive translations, glossary feature update and dashboard design

new Manage and remove inactive translations

You can now quickly see an overview of all your translations considered ‘inactive’. A potentially inactive translation is when a translation has not been viewed for a long period of time.

This might mean the sentence is no longer on your original website and therefore you might want to remove the translation from your Translations List for a clearer overview. This ultimately leads to better translations management as you’ll only be managing ‘live’ translations.

To access this feature, go to your ‘Translations’ tab. At the bottom of the page click on ‘See your inactive translations’.

This will take you to a table showing potentially inactive translations arranged by language pair.

Click on the potentially inactive translations and you’ll be taken to the list view. Here you can hover over the caution sign to see when the translation was last seen.

Sometimes pages on your website may not be visited very often but can still be important. To double-check the translation is definitely inactive, you can visit the associated URL of the translation(s). If the ‘Last seen date’ doesn't change within the next 48 hours and is still tagged as inactive you can be confident the translation no longer exists and therefore delete it.

To delete inactive translations permanently, select them individually or by bulk and then click the trash icon. These translations will then be removed completely from your Weglot Dashboard.

You can still make use of the filter when viewing inactive translations, by filtering by translation quality and type of translation to give you a more specific breakdown.

update Glossary import and language pair filter

Within your Glossary, you can now import your own CSV file of glossary terms. To do this, go to your ‘Translations’ tab and then ‘Glossary’. Click on ‘Actions’ and then ‘Import’.

Another useful feature is that you can now filter your glossary by language pair. This makes it easier to see a quick overview of your glossary rules by language.
